Our factoring solution takes the form of a revolving line of credit using accounts receivable as the collateral. Each day, we compile all of your accounts receivable balances in our calculation process which provides you the availability to take an advance up to 85% against the A/R value versus handling advances on an invoice by invoice basis. This “borrowing base” approach is less time consuming for you and allows you to advance only what you need.
Gibraltar’s underwriting is based on the credit worthiness of your customer (the end user or buyer of your product or service) and their willingness to pay for that product or service. In addition, our pricing is simple for you to calculate and is 100% transparent. Other factoring companies price their advances based on the full value of your invoices regardless of what they advance which means you end up paying for capital you don’t receive. Many competitors charge “discounts” which are difficult to understand. They may also break fees into confusing itemized charges making it difficult for clients to make comparisons across potential funding sources. At Gibraltar, we price simply and transparently.
Gibraltar’s approval process is quick, requiring only a summary A/R aging, a summary A/P aging and current year to date financial statements. We can provide a proposal within 24 hours of account review and funding within days of a signed proposal.
